FIXEdge C++ 6.17.0 release: new Direct Database API (DDBAPI) was added
B2BITS, EPAM Systems company, is pleased to share the release of version 6.17.0 of FIXEdge.
FIXEdge 6.17.0 introduces several significant updates:
- New Direct Database API (DDBAPI). With Direct Database API (DDBAPI), in addition to the access to ODBC compliant databases via the abstract layer "Histories", this feature enables execution of SQL commands directly from the FIXEdge JavaScript execution environment. As a result, full syntax of SQL is available on FIXEdge Business Layer to execute store procedures and complex queries.
- Added new SourceIPAddress REST Acceptor TA parameter to bolster the security of REST Acceptor TA connections. This enhancement allows to validate access based on the source IP address. By leveraging this feature, customers can restrict access to only authorized locations, effectively preventing unauthorized connections.
Bug Fixes:
- This release addresses an issue where setting sequence numbers using FIXICC impacted subsequent session startup. This fix ensures consistent sequence number management, improving reliability and data integrity for the users.
